Studio Silverback are joining together with India’s top creative and filmmaking talent, led by India’s leading creator economy platform PlucTV, for an impactful new communications initiative. Planet India will launch ahead of G20 Leaders’ Summit held in New Delhi this September and celebrate the people of India and their leadership in the effort to protect nature and fight climate change.
This landmark effort will reach 200 million people in India alone with world-class visual content of India’s climate and nature heroes, inviting people to share their own unique Planet India story. The storytelling campaign has been inspired by ‘jugaad’ – the Hindi word which means thinking creatively to solve problems with limited resources, and a philosophy which is driving climate innovation across India.
The campaign will be launched to the world at a Planet India gala screening in New Delhi in September. The event will bring together the leading storytellers, environmental leaders, filmmakers, and content creators garnering international attention for India’s climate positive creativity as world leaders gather in the capital for the G20 Leaders’ Summit. This unmissable event will be a major focus for the campaign, showcasing our awe-inspiring Planet India film special and amplifying a positive message.
